Tree Service in Provo, UT

From older neighborhoods with towering shade trees to rentals that need a tree taken care of fast, Bird’s Eye View Tree Services helps Provo property owners keep trees safe and looking good. We’re just next door in Orem.

Big, Old Trees Need Expert Care

Many of Provo’s established neighborhoods have large elms, cottonwoods, maples, and pines planted generations ago. Trees that size can drop heavy limbs, crowd power lines, and lift sidewalks and driveways with their roots.

Our climbers handle big trees in tight city lots by cutting them in sections and lowering each piece with ropes, so homes, cars, and fences stay protected.

For Landlords and Property Managers

Provo has a lot of rental homes, and tree problems at a rental can’t wait for the owner to drive over. We make it simple:

  • Clear written estimates you can approve by email
  • Work done while tenants are home or away, as long as we can reach the trees
  • Easy-to-pay invoices
  • Full cleanup, so the property is ready when we leave

East Bench and Foothill Homes

Provo’s east bench neighborhoods climb toward Rock Canyon and the foothills, where yards often blend into scrub oak, pines, and native brush. Those homes face a different set of tree concerns than the valley floor: sloped lots, heavier snow loads on evergreens, and wildfire risk from dense vegetation close to the house.

We help foothill homeowners thin scrub oak, remove dead trees and brush, and raise low evergreen limbs so a fire can’t easily climb from the ground into the canopy or onto the roof. On steep lots, our climbers work by hand and lower wood with ropes, so there’s no heavy equipment tearing up your landscaping.

Along the Provo River

Homes near the Provo River and the city’s canals and parkways often have cottonwoods, willows, and box elders growing along the water. These trees grow fast and get big, but their wood is weak, so they shed limbs and can fail in high wind. We can deadwood and reduce them to make them safer, or remove them in sections when they’re leaning toward a house, garage, or trail.

Provo Tree Questions

A tree’s roots are lifting my sidewalk. What are my options?

It depends on the tree and how much damage it’s causing. Sometimes removal is the best choice; other times the tree can stay. We’ll look at it in person and give you a free estimate. If the sidewalk or tree is in the city’s park strip, check with the city first.

Can you work on a rental while I’m out of town?

Yes. As long as we can reach the trees and you’ve approved the estimate, we can do the work and send you the invoice by email.

How close should trees be to my house on the foothills?

The few feet right around your home should be kept clear of dense brush and dead material, and tree branches should be cut back from the roof and chimney. Farther out, thinning and spacing trees and shrubs helps slow a fire. We’ll walk your lot with you and suggest a plan that keeps it looking natural.
