Tree Service FAQs: Orem & Utah County

Answers to the questions we hear most from homeowners around Utah County. Don’t see yours? Give us a call.

Estimates & Pricing

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Every estimate is free. We’ll come out, look at your trees in person, and give you a clear price before any work starts. Request your free estimate here.

How much does tree removal cost?

Every job is different. The price depends on the tree’s size and condition, how easy it is to reach, and what’s nearby, like your house, fences, or power lines. That’s why we look at it in person first. Your free estimate gives you an exact price, with no surprises.

Is stump grinding included with tree removal?

Stump grinding is a separate service, so you can choose whether you want it. Just let us know during your estimate and we’ll include it in your quote.

Safety & Insurance

Are you insured?

Yes. Bird’s Eye View Tree Services is fully insured, so you and your property are protected while we work.

Can you remove a tree that’s close to my house?

Yes, and we do it all the time. Instead of dropping a tree in one piece, our climbers cut it in sections and lower each piece down with ropes. That keeps your home, fence, and landscaping safe, even in tight backyards.

Emergencies

Do you handle emergency tree removal?

Yes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If a tree or large limb has fallen on your home, car, or driveway, or looks like it’s about to, call us right away at (385) 427-5019. Stay clear of the tree, and keep away from any downed power lines.

The Job Itself

Do you haul away the branches and wood?

That’s up to you. We can haul everything away and leave your yard clean, or leave the logs for firewood and the chips for mulch if you’d like to keep them. Just tell us what you prefer at your estimate.

What services do you offer?

We provide professional tree removal, tree pruning and trimming, stump grinding, and 24/7 emergency and hazardous tree removal. See all our services.

When is the best time to prune my trees?

For most trees, late winter, while they’re dormant, is a great time for routine pruning. Dead, broken, or hazardous limbs should come down as soon as you notice them, any time of year. We’re happy to recommend the right timing for your trees.

Do I need to be home while you work?

Not always. As long as we can get to the trees and we’ve agreed on the plan at your estimate, we can usually do the work while you’re away. We’ll let you know when the job is done.
