Whether a tree is dead, leaning, damaged, or simply in the wrong spot, Bird’s Eye View Tree Services removes it safely and leaves your yard clean. We take down trees of every size across Utah County, including big trees in tight backyards and over homes.

When a Tree Should Come Down
We always look for ways to save a healthy tree, but removal is the right call when a tree:
- Is dead or mostly dead, or has major decay in the trunk or roots
- Has a new or worsening lean, or cracks and splits in the trunk
- Was badly damaged by wind or snow
- Is growing into your house, foundation, sewer line, or power lines
- Has outgrown its space or is crowding out healthier trees
Not sure? We’ll take a look during your free estimate and give you an honest recommendation, even if that means pruning instead of removing.
How We Remove Trees Safely
Most residential trees can’t simply be felled in one piece; there’s a house, fence, garage, or neighbor in the way. Our climbers go up into the tree and take it down in manageable sections, using ropes and rigging to lower each piece to the ground under control. That lets us work over roofs, gardens, and power lines without damage.
- Free on-site estimate: we look at the tree, access, and what’s underneath it.
- Clear written price: no surprises, and you can approve by email.
- Safe removal: sectional cutting and controlled lowering.
- Cleanup: we chip brush, haul wood, and rake and blow the area. We can leave firewood or chips if you want them.
- Optional stump grinding: so you can replant or lay sod.
What Affects the Cost of Tree Removal?
Every tree is different, so we price each job after seeing it. The biggest factors are the tree’s size, how close it is to buildings and power lines, how easy it is to reach, the tree’s condition (dead or cracked wood takes extra care), and whether you want the stump ground and the wood hauled away. Bundling several trees into one visit often lowers the cost per tree.
Tree Removal Questions
Is the stump included?
Removal leaves a low, flush-cut stump. Stump grinding is a separate line on your estimate, so you can choose whether to add it.
Can you remove a tree near power lines?
We regularly remove trees near the service lines that run to homes. If a tree is touching the main utility lines along the street, the power company may need to make the area safe first, and we’ll tell you if that’s the case.
Are you insured?
Yes. We’re fully insured, and we’re happy to provide proof of insurance before work begins.
